Hi!  I’m Bill Nevitt.  I’m a professional voice actor and audiobook narrator.  Thanks for visiting my web page!

Audiobook narration and voice acting comprise my “second career.”  Toward the end of my first career, I felt that there was a new challenge ahead for me.  I had listened to what were formerly known as “books on tape” and was intrigued with the possibility of performing this work myself.

Following research and training, I began my second career as a voice actor and narrator several years ago.  I’m pleased that I have found my “niche” in audiobook narration.

I’m proud to have narrated 39 titles, comprised of the non-fiction genres of military history, business and recreation, as well as several fiction projects, including murder mysteries and romance novels.

I really enjoy helping listeners identify with characters in a story to help them experience it first hand, rather than them being separated from the story as a “third party.”

Think of it this way: would you rather OVERHEAR a story, or, be PART OF the story?   I believe that helping listeners identify with characters so they are PART OF the story is truly the art of “storytelling.”
